This ingredient combines zinc, an essential trace mineral widely studied for its role in skin balance, with PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid), a naturally occurring component of the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF).

Zinc PCA is commonly used in cosmetic formulations focused on oil regulation, scalp balance, pore appearance refinement, and skin clarity support. Its dual-action profile makes it suitable for products intended for blemish-prone skin, scalp formulations, toners, serums, and lightweight emulsions.

This solution is pre-diluted to 1% for convenient incorporation into formulations without the need for complex dissolution steps.
